Wont be buying a new bike any time soon!

This Anthem is absolutely amazing, and Im starting to get real comfortable on it now

With the wheel upgrade and the other bits and pieces, its down to 11.5kg, which is not too bad for an alloy Dual susser

Brandon, is your the 29er or 27.5? I have the 29" X1 and am very happy with it. It isn't as nippy round turns as the 26" Trance I have but climbs waay better and of course rolls better too. Also seems to handle rocks much better but I suppose that's the "rolling". Next bike will prob be a 27.5 so I should cover most conditions.

Cheers.

Finally went to Jonkers to see the post-fire damage.... (panorama shot on phone)

Edit: Not sure why it has gone dark on here...

So this past week I've been on holiday in strand and of course I took my bike with. These are some pics I took along what can only be described as as one of the best cycling routes in the cape. Absolutely breathtaking scenery along the whale coast towards kleinmond. post-46814-1428533170,3091.jpgpost-46814-1428533192,2096.jpgpost-46814-1428533212,2604.jpgpost-46814-1428533229,0873.jpg

Hey, sorry for the late reply, just saw it now.

Mine is the 29er, I had the Anthem 1 27'5 for a month and didn't like it, so I sold it!

With my bike fitment on the 650b Anthem I just felt way to disconnected from my front wheel, used up all spacers and the stem pointing up! Hated it!

Sutherland recently.  SALT Telescopes in the background (next post, still getting the hang of this).
