I noticed that as well - compared to previous years the scenery (apart from a few epic shots with table mountain in the background) has been a bit meh.

 

The riding looks great and I will definitely visit Durbanville when I make a riding trip to the Cape, though. 
 

Another part of the decision to cut costs by keeping the route closer to Cape Town?

Dunno... Reading the stories about the rave village I'm leaning towards GINT (glad I'm not there). 

Mamils are soft creatures. We can do anything so long as there's a comfy spot, an ice cold something and lots of delicious food.

Anyone else not missing Neil Gardiner's commentary this year? I'm really enjoying it and without NG boring the rest of the team even Gerald has stepped it up a notch.....loving the informal style without the constant over explaining and repetition.
