  1. I have to agree with Chris Horner, why didn't the other GC contender teams even try to contest the intermediate time bonus to prevent Remco to steal an easy 6 sec?

This simply doesn't make sense, were they maybe "surprised" and not 100% sure where the line was?

To the idiot on the TT bike in the Cradle this morning.....myself and the car ahead (car ahead driven by a law abiding lady) were held up a bit by a tour bus ...we pass you a few hundred metres before one of the Cradle circles but get slowed down through the circle where you decide to come from behind and try and pass the lady on her left hand side INSIDE the circle and proceed to shout at her and hit on her car with your hand when you run out of road. What an @sshole move. It's guys like you that give us cyclists a bad name.

My point exactly, its not cyclists or motorists, its A-HOLES, too many of them around ... 😡

    Not a Rocky Mountain? 🤥

Good to see you are sharing your opinion on a bike and have some of the facts....

There is some resemblance to the older RM's, but no, I dont think it is.

  4. Old - new bike, 2017 RM Element.  To be honest the previous owner didn't do it any justice, pivots were probably never serviced/replaced, the fork needed a major service (on my other bike now), minor rust on the cassette and a lot of dings & scratches on the frame.  Edit:  Forgot to mention both rims were toast, at least I got a good deal on carbon ones to replace them.

I had to drop significant cash to get it back to its former glory.  Getting some vinyl protection today then we ready to roll .... ☺️

I would strongly consider a axs upgrade, vut you can get a jagwire pro dropper kit

.4mm cable and tiny housing that always worked lekker for me , expensive tho

Agree, one of the best things I ever did is to buy a AXS derailleur, I paid ~R9k and its worth every penny.  Shifting is awesome every single time and best part no cables or even wires compared to Di2.

@Steady Spin @splatThank you for the info much appreciated. I do make use of the different suspension settings ie lockout, traction and descending depending on the terrain. My assumptions were way off.

I never tried a vertical shock bike before simply because I prefer the "look" of a horizontal designed bike.  Its purely personal preference me thinks ....

Something to consider though, hor designed modern frames allow for 2 water bottles inside the front triangle whereas for vert design its a lot more challenging to do that.

So .... if you like to do longer rides this is for sure something to keep in mind, if you like the short fast tech stuff a vert design might work for you also.

Apparently they send via post office these days which is of concern

That changes it from super service to no service .... 😪

Sending anything via SAPO is most likely not going to reach its destination.

    Hi Hubbers,

Does anyone know where SAPO ZA63803 is located? Trying to Track down my BOA warranty order, thanks.

Did yours go through SAPO?  Mine was via a courier, cant remember which one though ...

Edit: Found it, it was DHL.  I'm very surprised yours is not.
