  1. This is the irritating pop up. Only able to upload this pic on my phone by switching to the desktop version of the site
  2. Not able to add photos from a phone to a thread? I can only see fast reply as an option. Also. I get bugged by that survey every single time I go to the classifieds on my phone. Drives me a bit dilly
  3. Na, just some 24/48hour bug. visited some friends on friday/saturday. their daughter was sick. that night the mother was sick, the next day the father. a day after that myself and my wife. i can say that body aches are not fun when you body is already aching from a tough day in the saddle!
  4. got some sort of bug stomach bug. 6 hours after finishing ride for site i was man down. shivers, fever, vomiting, diarrhea. still battling nausea and have zero appetite. great weight loss though!
  5. Second VA race for me. Okes are fast! I am at my limit each time they surge. Rule 5 came to mind a few times. Managed to stay with them to the end. Sadly punctured with 800m to go. A strong panda rider was whining like drain about guys like me not making the racing. I think he needs to remember we all have to start somewhere and go meditate on rule 43. Otherwise a great race
  6. more like every time we get up from our laptops and go to the bathroom/kitchen/garage - we might be addicted...
  7. i think it's every time you use a different platform. ie move from a computer to phone - need to log in again on the phone. move back to the computer - need to log in again on the computer.
  8. it is rather frustrating
  9. I keep getting signed out every time I revisit the site?

  14. i enquired about the price of a used wahoo headwind today. was initially given a price higher than store price. people are retarded
  15. Dark Horse are rubbish. i went through 3 rims in 2 years over 5000km i weight 68kg i cannot believe HUNT wheels have not been mentioned here they are brilliant and backup is superb
  16. 100% pretty much the first 200m of the climb

  18. its not Friday yet... but soon.....
  19. Just a few pics from La Passione's ride!
  20. dare i say it, do you think cyclelab will get involved to protect their many members who ride the road?
  21. Since i can remember Ceder road in JHB has always suffered with issues of dumped concrete on the shoulder. this concrete forces hundreds of riders a week into the cars lane. its only time until an accident occurs. Is there any way we can have this concrete removed to open up the shoulder again? crowd funding? reach out to the municipality? a hubber with the right equipment and a good samaritan heart? this thread is here to spitball a solution to this issue. all ideas welcome!
  22. Easy everyone... let me clarify a few things. the bike pictured is my fathers and he is happy with the work done - hence why no contact was made with Anton. the bike is built back up and wont be stripped and shipped again. to much hassle. i posted pictures here to show the level of work done after making a comment that i personally did not think the work was as high as standard as everyone makes it out to be. it was this exact thread that drove to tell my father to use Anton over anyone else. as it stands my father is happy with the bike. and is not interested in getting it fixed. as for me, it turned me off respraying my old Look 586. my thoughts are that if the bike was sent out, then Anton was obviously happy with his work. and if thats his work, i personally would not use him to spray my bike. i am not applying social pressure on Anton, and I are not looking to get anything out of this from him. i am just showing off workmanship on a thread designed to do that.
  23. Feedback: Our Lady rider has whiplash and a concussion and is now feeling groovy on some specialty meds. Our Gent who came down has a stable supra-pubic fracture of his pelvis. we are awaiting Drs feedback. but in general 6 weeks bedrest is the norm for these fractures.
  24. someone will plow into a slower rider at some stage. i guarantee it. into a headwind there is very little chance of the group ahead hearing the calls
