  1. having recabled my Madone SLR i can confirm its a hack. but it worth it. the bike looks far far sexier with all the cables hidden
  2. I have to agree on fit fluctuations. I have a few of their race cut jerseys. Last one I ordered I had to send back for replacement because the left sleeve was so tight I could not get my arm through it. The right was fine. I actually measured them out and there was a good 4cm difference in circumference. Anyway, exchange was quick and their stuff serves me well. I'll still buy, I shop the sales. Makes them good value for money
  3. i'll be honest i opened this thread expecting to see another cracked cannondale
  4. maybe to account for what our market is willing to pay? its still a lot, but i'm sure their market research and historical data will single out the best price point for the RSA market
  5. so apparently your GBP10500 gets you this beautiful bike with Sram Red AXS and then they go do something brain dead and make it not tubeless compatible. The mind boggles https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/road-bikes/specialized-s-works-tarmac-sl7-review/
  6. well this was a fun thread to read through
  7. maybe, but in the tour on a descent those seconds would more than be made up by the better braking and aero benefits. i think it's a great all rounder. best of all worlds
  8. Parafin the chain with a chain cleaner. Parafin the cassette and crank. Clean entire bike off with Diluted Cleangreen. let is dry fully in the sun. lube. i've been doing that for years. my Record chain did not even get to 0.5 wear after 12000km of riding. to be fair i keep my bike spotless all the time. a clean bike is an efficient bike and makes me feel good when i ride it.
  9. Quickly runs to garage to check my GX chain and cassette... All good!
  10. does it matter where you are importing from? or are the import fees the same regardless?
  11. i love my gravel bike. fast becoming my solo ride steed
  12. well that was fun. Dennis is on form thats for sure!
  13. i watched Ineos race up alpe du Zwift, its not bad really. the cameras on the real riders help to show the effort level. also unreal watching the power to weight figure the Zwift one did, so did the inCycle race. hopefully this will do the same. i imagine the SS1 would do this like normal commentary. on the app i doubt you will get commentary and live views
  14. event is over the next 5 days. involves all the big teams. stages are short roughly 20-40km - so short and sharp racing 17h15 on SS1 today you can also follow along on the Rouvy App we have some live sport to watch!!
  15. Cave has been setup a while. I usually get in 2-4 hours during the week, its going to take a lot of willpower to get that up to 10 hours a week. especially as all future plans seem to have evaporated.
  16. just got my first bean to cup machine in time for the lockdown. how's this for a coffee!
  17. please please stop that survey from popping up on ever page when browsing on mobile? i now log on, see it pop up and get so miffed i have to constantly close it each page that i just don't bother browsing on my phone anymore
  18. i was to busy trying to avoid it to be able to tell you. but the bunny hopper definitely did not clear the intended obstacle
  19. this happened right next to me. not sure what caused the rider to go down ( i think it was a piece of missing road on the left edge that someone swerved to miss). all i know is the guy next to me tried bunny hopping - unsuccessfully. i suspect it was said bunny hopper that landed on and destroyed the bike in the pic.
  20. I did a brief demo on one of these at the 94.7 expo. Very realistic road feel when seated. But very unrealistic when out of the saddle. So not perfect
  21. Still get occasional nausea. Bloating and tons of gas out both sides. Really not sure if racing is a good idea tomorrow.
