I have it as 23rd of March Really nice route, out and back route part of it is actually the same as the Carousel race. Last 30km is lekker tough and the hardest climb is hit almost near the end. Not to much climbing in total but route is challenging

Condolences to the family of the deceased rider. I feel the organization was top notch and the event and route very enjoyable, big plus on sorting out the prize giving so quickly! Will be back next year for sure...Well done!

Do you need a power meter to use this programme?

So if one purchases the powercal strap it will show my perceived power output on the Garmin?

Short off it all...bunches are to big and the riders have no bunch skills what so ever. Changing lines in corners, overlapping wheels etc....plain stupidity

I did it 3 x times already and 2 of them were on 11-23 and I had difficult day 3's. Day 1 is a lot of climbing but the climbs are not so "steep" as day 3. It is very enjoyable and this year I am riding mixed and will be gunning it to have good placings. 11-25 at least this year for me on the back with a normal crank

I know if you want to ride Elite your seeding index has to be below a 20 for a male...I know for vets you just need the full racing licence

So many variables to a day that can occur...sure some of you would have pissed on them had it rained as well. Many of you complain about Advendurance events...if they are so bad then stop supporting them.

If only it was that easy all of us would organise events and make millions like you state

I will never ever use Powasol again at any event...no organisation and to many tjommies just jump the line and get preferential treatment. Logistics is a nightmare with a new event as this one was the Columbia event last year which did not even attract close to the number of entrants this one has. That being said some of the issues that occurred was non negotiable but I am sure that Sabie will be different again! I think that the biggest issue is having all of the events on one day! Easy solution is split the marathon and half marathons across two days for the MTN events and limit the field even more for the Nissan event later in the year

Some of the Euro guys will be racing Dullstroom, all of them will be riding Sabie and Tulbagh so rather judge Phillips form then you might just be surprised

Nino and Phil are going to win it this year...reason why I say this is because Nino would not have changed his partner if he was not seeking a win. Phillip is in the shpae of his life currently

It is going to be worse because the climb is longer now!

It gets hammered from the gun...only recover point is going down Sterkfontein down hill(where dome2dome starts), then it is fast and easier until you reach the caves where it will get hammered again, and obviously every hill in the cradle. It is a tough race but the start makes or brakes your ride if you are looking for a good time

Money will determine if they will get there...lets hope they get the financial backing needed to get to TdF, as in the sponsors back them long enough

I am sure that most of the route is on private land so it will be illegal after the race

A lot of the pro riders still use this in the peloton to "help" them during a race....many don't need it and it gives them that little bit extra....in your case I will definitely have it checked

Is this the same route as when the Dome2Dome race first moved to that side of the world?
