Sent from my LG-H735 using Tapatalk The whole town is now evacuated, it is now known as the largest evacuation ever in Alberta state history... "the entire city of 60,000 had been ordered evacuated. Residents by the thousands fled the fire, and for hours caused gridlock on Highway 63, and even overwhelmed oilsands work camps, where beds and meals were offered.Fire chief Darby Allen said the entire neighbourhood of Beacon Hill "appears to have been lost" and the fire burned many homes in other parts of the city." My sister in law says "it is like in the movies where both incoming and exiting lanes of the highways are used by people wanting/needing to leave. Cars ran out of fuel and fuel stations are dried out."Somehow I think an event like this, even if it is the 'bad and ugly' still has a place 'on a new thread' .. I jokingly told the missus, that they forgot their bike.... I have rocked up for rides on occasions with some equipment missing like helmet, cleats riding shirt etc...but never forgotten my bike as yet.
