Ed-Zulu Posted February 20, 2017 Share the whole point of the green and red lights are for the observer to tell wether the ship / plane is travelling towards or away from you. so if the red is on your left you are facing and therefore travelling in the same direction, if its on the right then the oppositeUnless the ship is full astern!
