here's a better angle

incidentally that boat was named after my grandfather.

he supported NSRI for years, mostly by donating heavily at their annual wine auction. Come to think of it, where did all that wine go....

I'm pretty sure that exits K-Tape territory and enters Flotation Device territory!

Laugh all we want, but that person has at least hauled her body out to participate in some form of activity rather than sitting in the couch.

(And yes, I am one of those laughing. )

I'm guessing that is her husband next to her in the black KTape suit...

Kudos to them for getting off the couch as well as providing us with Internet pic fodder.

I grew up in the Karoo, I NEVER laugh at anyone else when it comes to swimming - not after my kids explained to me what I look like when swimming - something about an epileptic fit and foam bubbles!

I didn't notice that !

Kudo to the person that strapped her up.

I wouldn't want to be around when it all has to come off again

Saw this on FB yesterday and am still laughing.  I have a fisio friend who loves working with tape, and my first thoughts were:  Jen, is this your work?

Laughing again now as the 'husband' has been pointed out...

But yes, kudos for making the journey!

Same here. Only swimming I can do is "versuipslag" - That frantic splashing just before you go under.

My wife pops like a cork when she goes into the water, turns on her back and just floats - I float like a brick.

I don't go near water where my arms can't be dry whilst standing. Klaar.
