Robbie Stewart Posted August 25, 2020 Share GARDEN SHARK!!! Love these doggos. And staffies. And Jackies. And Pitties. And Labs. And Afrikanis jobbies. Heck. All dogs matter. Hahaha, that is a good name for a bull-terrier. I grew up with 6 different ones. The one I loved most was a bull-terrier cross with a ridgeback. He looked just like a bully would, but he stood as tall as a ridgeback. He had the most awesome personality and was really just a teddy-bear. We always called them Wielneus dogs. Garden Shark suits them better. Long Wheel Base and Captain Fastbastard Mayhem

Hairy Posted August 25, 2020 Share https://twitter.com/engineeringvids/status/1298161907929497601My father was working on an oil rig near to where the Oceanos was when it sank. On his return home he showed video footage of the storm, and how it struck the rig. It was amazing to see just how massive the waves were, and how it washed over the rig. He also had footage of the "games room" where the pool balls were bouncing around. The sea can be really dangerous.

I was there for the aborted Lloyd's insurance investigative dive a few weeks after she went down.....A few dives to 100m in an inland cave does not qualify you for diving to 98m on a new wreck on the Transkei coast...but fame and money are powerful temptations....lives were almost lost that day! CAAD4 Posted August 25, 2020 Share I know of people who survived both the Achille Lauro and Oceanos sinkings. If I still knew them, I'd ask for Lotto numbers... Hairy and DJR

Well I would sure take care not to book a cruise with them at all. Actually to make sure I will not even get on a plane with them. It is like traveling with Tom Hanks. You just don't do that. geomark, DJR and Hairy

capediver Posted August 25, 2020 Share I know of people who survived both the Achille Lauro and Oceanos sinkings. If I still knew them, I'd ask for Lotto numbers...I was doing salvage work (aka as scrapping) along the coast at the time, based out of East London harbour, used to ride to work...I saw the Oceanos at the dock the day before she sailed and as I cycled past, all I could think was how much I would get for all the brass portholes...felt pretty bad when I saw what happened a few days later!
