I have actually been there! slept in the fields for a few hours in the middle of a loooong adventure race.

 

ecotourism, well there's potential at the coast but build it and they could come.

I dont like Pit Bulls, but these stats only show one side of things.

There are many more factors at play in dog attacks than just the type of dog.

but then those 'many more factors' would be applicable to all breeds of dogs? Or are you saying that Pitbulls attract a certain type of owner? I don't own a dog so I don't have a horse dog in this race fight

yes, in general. Ofcourse you will get the cases where its not the stereotypical owner, and in those case you will generally see a different behaviour in the dog.

 

Yes certain dogs are more prone to certain behaviour traits, that is what they were designed for, but to label an entire breed of dog as dangerous just because they are generally owned by the type of people that make them that way is unfair to the poor animal.
