Just arrived...

Too tired from a long work day to do anything with them, although that lyne bag only comes with screws to mount on the rail and not the straps like in a few shots. Will see...

Did find the shipping a bit odd, got a nice hard cardboard tube when I ordered my alu bar, but the carbon on comes in bubble wrap with a bit of cardboard on 1 side, in a plastic bag.

Would think carbon would get the better treatment.

Where did you order the lyne stuff from? I’m looking for the rail with cage and the bag? For my Scott Spark - saw it fit really nicely on another Spark

How come where's the Dartmoor

Very safe and happy in the garage.

This started off very simply ... I had a spare pair of grips in the garage, then I got a set of wheels from a friend .... then this frame popped up, and I could not say no. Incidentally, this is the frame that I was considering when I bought the Dartmoor frame.

At first I may build her up as a fully rigid bike .... so if you have a 29'er thru axel rigid fork collecting dust I may be interesting in trying it out to see how it will feel riding a rigid SS.

Congrats

Please may I ask how you find it once built up? I have been considering one for some time but I am worried after seeing a few comments about the geometry etc.

I am also considering a HT with longer travel as an SS. Not sure if I will hate that decision more?

PS, I saw your Dartmoor build and leaning more towards that right now. But sliding dropouts...

Like the car accident insurance claim

It was dark and the streets were unlit. Then the tree jumped in front of my car.

Tch! Excuses.
