Like what..........?

I'm guessing a N/W ring and 10s cassette expander set?

Jip, chainrings started slipping/jumping so I thought, what the heck, go the full monty. I did the same conversion on my full suspension which I sold December, so I know that it works for me.

Not really cycling related, but when safe to do so, they will be used on my 2 wheeled transportation devices...

Bose Quietcomfort 20 Noise Cancelling headphones.

Worked like a treat on the flight home from Sydney last night. Even used them at work today (without music) just to get some peace in the open plan office space

Hands down THEE best headphones ever and well worth the money. Heard wearing too. Even do the odd motorbike ride with it.

For sure! I walk to and from work through the Auckland CBD (10-15min each way), so I consider them my "Sound System".

I also plan to use them on my dirt bike for longer rides, even if I don't pay music, and just use the noise cancelling. An open face helmet and goggles gets quite noisy at around 100kph.

The transparent mode is useful when I do need to listen in on my surroundings/hold a convesation, but don't want to take my helmet off to do so.

I use them with one of these (to make them 'wireless'):

Bluetooth transmitter/receiver with mini battery.

I then bar mounted my old Galaxy S5 with a cheap waterproof/dustproof case and a gopro bar clamp (off Ali-express)

The result was pretty good for a gps-nav system with Spotify and wifi controls for my GoPro

Mount without phone on.

The command centre.

So yeah, the only issue I have with the headphones is that because they are a bite bigger than other in ears, they can pop out when putting my helmet on, or hurt/get stuck when taking the helmet off.

Fuk for 6k I'll have to pass

Yeah I just looked at the SA prices are they are crazy. Standard retail here in NZ is approximately R4500. I picked mine up for AU$330 at the duty-free in Sydney. Still a lot of money, but yeah, at R6000 I would have said no-way!

I actually had a look yesterday and mine aren't the noise cancelling model.

Mine are the more affordable soundsport model which seems to be around the R2900 price range.

Hear you on the slightly bigger thing though, need to be super careful getting a helmet on or off but that being said I have always struggled keeping the earbuds in. All the others I have used pop out with no effort. these stay in until you want them out.
