Have to agree, marketing strategies try and convince the public that you need every product on the shelf in order to be somebody!

My main worry is doping in high school sport....have you guys actually SEEN the size of laaities that train in the gyms???

Demmit! why did this only come to light now!?

I won a 360life team kit when I went to the Epic Snail movie premier. I could have totally used it as a halloween costume if this had come to light a week or so earlier!

Bad timing Mr George!

I'm feeling very sorry for guys that kitted themselved out in the whole LiveStrong kit, got the helmet, shoes, the whole package. ****, it must feel like riding around with egg on your face. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything from USPS, Radioshack, or Livestrong branded kit.

While we are on the topic of doping, and talking about people who have doped and might have doped, how can we have 2 presenters on TV(supercycling) who have tested positive for drugs, and now reperesent the sport.

If you want to clean out the sport, you need to start at the top and NOT worry about, who someone is, or the position that they hold in the community. Lance Armstrong is a perfect example of how the cycling illuminati can fall.

David George needs to be ostracised from the sport! For far too long doping cheats have been ruining the dreams of clean cyclists who now race fun rides on the weekends........but at least they go to sleep at night knowing that they arent living a lie.

As for cycling being blamed for being a dirty sport, people need to open their eyes and realise wherever there is money, there will be people cheating. Rugby......never ever a doping story, yet they all look like they are on roids, bet they wont pass the same doping controls as cyclists!

Nuff said

2 presenters? Check your facts there or be careful of insinuations...

If I remember correctly, at the time that he was on the postal team he was put on "medicall leave" because his hemocrit level was > 50

Livestrong is about cancer support i see no issue wearing livestrong kit, the rest however would never even have been in contention.

I wonder if Nedbank will let him keep his insurance policies with them?

ROFL.

On that side, not a chance. Any PED taking (much like cocaine and such) will render a policy null & void.

It's in the t's & c's. Put EPO or cocaine / heroine etc into a life application, put the "last symptoms" date to 2012/11/01 and see if they'll grant you cover.

Then go find a corner and cry yourself to sleep.

ITO policies, it will have been a material non disclosure that has a direct effect on the risk associated with the life assured. In that case, they would re-underwrite the policy based on current practices, and if he were currently taking EPO, or proven to take EPO, then they would re-underwrite on that basis.

VERY VERY stoopid thing to do from a life cover / Disability / Severe Illness perspective. Wilfully seeking a denial of cover, in other words.

Unfortunately two years ago when I was still in school I knew so many guys on roids! It was ridiculous... One week they were average and the next as if their muscles were injected with fish oil giving that balloon effect. I mean it didn't even look good by any standards and yet they still did it.

This is such bad news!!! Not that I was the biggest supporter of Team 360-life, but they inspired a lot of young MTB'ers in South-Africa...

They should set an example with him. If we catch you doping, you will be banned for life and all titles will be stripped. All prize money should also be returned!

Real K@K news for Kevin as well...

Agree, maybe the kids of today need to look at guys like Greg Minnaar and Andrew Neethling for inspiration, you know, SOME PROPER MOUNTAIN BIKING!

Funny but not really funny

Peter de Villiers@Coachdivvy

Is it that lame to ride a bicycle that you have to take drugs to enjoy it or what?

Yeah, we have had a hubber forced to apologise here before for making that same accusation.
