Also have this feeling that this will never happen, not even top 10

I can see the jurno questions some time in the future:

So Louis, was there once a time when you thought that you would never visit the podium again?

since this is the froomedawg thread

LM at age 26 -

silver medal u23 world champs

2x TdF top10.

top10 olympics

African champ

CF at age 26

32nd at Giro

83rd at TdF

2nd at Giro  (the del capo version)

As much as I'm disappointed with how maincheese has not been able to keep the upward trajectory going these past 2 seasons, he's just turned 27. maybe he has bilharzia they need to sort out and he'll be world beater

Does he have asthma? That could also improve his performance somehow........

Perhaps LM stopped giving a ****. Found another purpose in life. Tough to say as he's not super active on social media, and nothing has been published about him in major publications.

Nico Rosberg's YouTube channel had an interview with CF. Worth a look.

Living the life of a WC.

Go back a page and look at post #461 as it has already been posted.

I think LM needed a team that could invest in him and really push him and believe in him enough to build a team around him and not just chase stages and 1 day glory - There was a time where he was a lot better than the Yates boys and could have gone on to reach higher things.

Unfortunately Teams also need to survive and that needs sponsors and funding and those like stage victories and glory.

I truly hope LM can find whatever it was he lost and rebuild to become a real contender next to the rest of the top tier.

As for Froomey - I hope his focus on TDF this year yields win #5.

I still don't understand the Skyhate. What is it all about?

It’s an emotive thing, not a rational thing.

The dislike is a human nature trait. Most of the reasoning that is constructed to justify it is either flimsy or hypocritical. But people will try and justify their dislike because then it is the other persons doing.

One could be honest and say “I just don’t like them, not sure why but I don’t” but then that would imply you don’t like them because of your own humanity, and few are brave enough to admit their own faults.

It's the same as the reason I don't like Nibali or Quitana or Valverde - I just don't like them and personally feel sick when I see Quintana win anything. The others I can still handle.

I also dislike Quintana the wheel-sucking marionette..............

Quintana sucks no more wheel than LM though?

Quintana is supposedly in a different league to LM as a Grand Tour winner/touted to win more.... so the wheel sucking leave a much bigger foul taste than when LM does.....
