So 2018 we're going longer travel with 180 mm, where 2017 briefly tried to make everyone buy short (110-130mm) travel bikes, after 160mm become old news in 2015, eh no?

2020 should see us riding 200mm dual crown extremeduro bikes.

Sigh. If you want lower travel, get the Jeffsy. Or something else.

The Capra has always been a heavy hitting enduro bike.

I think the trail builders and world cups should start putting more tight switchbacks in, farmgates on springs don't corner well.

150mm 29er already makes all the grass tufts smooth, for those worried, more travel than that is just silly on a 29er.

Warm up for Friday  :P

I think that bike designers have massive leeway these days because shock technology and the understanding of suspension kinematics has advanced to an extent where a a 180mm travel bike can be designed to pedal uphill quite well.

The trend for a while has been for longer ie 160mm plus travel enduro bikes - the Radon Swoop 170, Spaz Enduro, Propain Spindrift etc have been around for a while. YT have just updated an old design and brought it in line with other manufacturers.
