Yeah the new Meridas finally look relevant, just don't know if I can bring myself to like them for some reason, I'd likely buy that and just spray the frame all black, or at least remove the logo.

No reason for it, just really don't like Merida - probably because something like their "XT Edition" bikes only ever had XT shifters and RD, which was just annoying.

I ride 140mm Trance and love it but having looked an Chainreaction for something else saw these Vitus bikes.... not bad.. eventhough you would pay duties but still not bad.

I ride a Vitus VRX 29er.

It is really really awesome. Massive clearance for 29 x 2.6 tires (I have a Maxxis Aggressor 2.5 and it looks like I could fit a 2.8 in!)

It seems to pedal pretty well, which surprised me. But I'm waiting for 'new bike syndrome' to wear off before I make too many promises.

It built up pretty light for a 150/140 29er

I am happy to let you swing a leg over and go for a spin if you're about for Argust weekend.

I still need to get to Jonkers for an all day festival of Flow, rock and air time....

I still need to do that as well.
