Duane_Bosch Posted February 12, 2019 Share I think it's what James was trying to build, before he decided on a full suss. that doesn't make it any less absolutelyfckingbuttugly. If that was the only bike on the market I'd take up golf. Capricorn, Odinson and BSG

Headshot Posted February 12, 2019 Share You need your eyes tested. That is hideous.Does it not look enough like a road bike for you there Mr Bosch? That thing would be awesome in 26. At $1600 Can for a frame, its a bit of a non starter in any wheel size.
Duane_Bosch Posted February 13, 2019 Share Does it not look enough like a road bike for you there Mr Bosch? I'll admit that I am partial to a good looking road bike.
jimmy hardtail Posted February 13, 2019 Share 180mm on a hardtail is a lot to handle. I've run 170mm on mine before. The problem is braking causes the front to dive and steepens up the head angle. Also you can go flying into rough stuff cos you have control at the front, but your feet get absolutely hammered and fly off the pedals. When you land a drop of any kind the front compresses but the back stays up so it pitches you forward which is also awkward. So basically you have to really hang off the back of a bike like this, which makes cornering difficult cos all your weight is at the back. So the front slides around, and kind of negates having all that travel in the first place Captain Fastbastard Mayhem
