Yusran Posted March 10, 2014 Share Anybody know why the start was delayed? My group (DD) started about 4 minutes late. Some L's got ahead of themselves and jumped the start a minute early or so. The announcer got distracted and started counting down group M's start without releasing the L's first, so group L got released at 6:53 instead of 6:47. Respect to a friend of mine, Joerg the German, who is 53 years and did a sub 3 in his second Argus after a 4:10 last year. DPG Posted March 10, 2014 Share Very Happy with this years result! Was hoping for a sub 5, got to the top of Edinburgh Drive and had a failure on the front derailleur!!! Stuck on the big chain ring I thought it was over. Picked up a guy doing his second lap in Fishhoek and rode the rest with him. Over Smits, Chappies and Suikerbossie on big chainring was an eye opener! Big ups to those who do it on SS. There was a delay in K for whatever reason, announcer got confused and started count down for M without L being sent off. We all went off together 3 minutes later.
