thehubsa classifieds epic failures

Oh fk. I'm an enabler.

Personally. Anything under 120mm suspension is NOT an MTB.

How could you possibly say something like that just because not all of us are heavily into the AM scene like you guys and we ride 80mm hard tails this does not mean that we do not ride MTB bikes. By saying that anything under 120mm of travel is not a MTB are you thus implying that people like me who ride short travel bikes are not Mountain bikers? Surly we should all be uniting for the good of the sport and not splitting up just because we ride different kinds of bikes.

Frame only... No wait... With fork, seatpost, stem...

At least his ads now have pictures! And this one has more info than usual.

Hey! Easy cowboy. That's a very rare fixie with semi-horizontal dropouts. And nearby is the add for the multi-geared fixie wheelset. (Which no doubt came off this very bike) You gotta wise up ;)

Ooooohsah, little grasshopper. I said PERSONALLY.

If you ride jeep track and jeep track only then that is hardly mountain biking. Known as being a dirt roadie.

If you ride single track mixed with jeep track then yeah. MTB all the way.

Hush don't try and bit pick with me. You WILL come off second best.

Btw. I used to have an 80mm travel 26" ht bike. Changed it to 120mm then 150mm as soon as I could as for me, MTB starts when the travel goes over 120mm

I ride everything fully rigid. I hit things hard and fast and I get plenty of air time... I think personally its the other way round. MTB really starts when you have no assistance.

But then like you said earlier in the thread..... personally.....

I call you guys the geared fags on armchairs..... we all have our own way of getting that riding feeling

(said in jest before anyone has to untangle their knickers.... But I do call you guys that)

100%. I'll resist telling the story how I upgrade from my tricycle to my BMX to..., but I believe Iearnt most of what I know about picking lines with zero suspension...

My bad... I'm off to make an offer on both and build me a track bike - what with the semi horizontal drops, multi-geared wheels etc...

HATE it when someone advertise an item and then ignore all takers. You sent a PM or two, put a comment on the add, e-mail, try phone, leave messages, hang around with hard cash in your hand - but NADA. It's like they aren't really interested to sell the darn thing at all. A few weeks later the same business genius puts another add on the Hub for the same item because he hasn't sold it - and it starts all over again. :cursing:

What grinds my pepper corns are the twits that inquire if the item is still available. You say yes. They make arrangements to call you the next day to come and view the item, and then silence.... As the seller you call them to see if they are still coming. You get voicemail. You leave a message and nobody gets back to you.

Seriously!?
