How could you possibly say something like that just because not all of us are heavily into the AM scene like you guys and we ride 80mm hard tails this does not mean that we do not ride MTB bikes. By saying that anything under 120mm of travel is not a MTB are you thus implying that people like me who ride short travel bikes are not Mountain bikers? If you ride jeep track and jeep track only then that is hardly mountain biking. Known as being a dirt roadie. If you ride single track mixed with jeep track then yeah. MTB all the way. I think personally its the other way round. MTB really starts when you have no assistance. But then like you said earlier in the thread..... personally..... I call you guys the geared fags on armchairs..... we all have our own way of getting that riding feeling (said in jest before anyone has to untangle their knickers....
