one can get all technical about it, sounds like a valid contract but getting caught up between a brat and mommy tiff is perhaps not worth it. Rate him, name and shame, take your cash and move on, in fact, take your cash before he goes and spend it

In principal the seller is wrong, BUT I would rather take the refund and walk away from the fight. Legally you will win the fight but they may damage the bike just to get back at you. (If they back out of a deal they may very well send you a damaged bike) and that is a whole different fight. NOT WORTH IT.

i tell you what happened here. Mommy paid a lot of money for the bike at one point, and now he is not interested in it anymore and would rather sell it to buy A playstation or something. Mommy gets wind of this and flips here lid.....walk away

I am the sellers mother, he is an underaged schoolchild. I contacted the buyer to inform and he was very rude.

The money was sent even before transport, i explained that the payment will be reversed and i apologised for any inconvenience.

Shame on you for contacting him at school and threatening him. He is underage . There is NO contract. Stop threatening my child. Do you

not have children,? THEY MAY make mistakes. I contacted you to sort it out.

So how old is he exactly?

Shouldn't you be far more careful of what sites he has access to if he's clearly such a liability?

You're in the wrong here. Be a grown up and let your "child" be one too.

Mom,

This is a great lesson you are teaching him in terms of sticking to his commitments.

You appear to suck at parenting.

I worked in retail after school while I studied.

The one day two young boys come in and have R300 to spend. Now with it being a skating shop I asked them what they like etc, and they spotted the skating DVDs. They chose the ones they liked and they were VERY happy.

10 minutes later a woman flies through the door and throws the DVDs at my from about 4 meters away. Kakked me out for selling them DVDs while they were supposed to buy each of them T shirts. The little ****s never said anything.

I could have set fire to that beast of a woman, but I left it and gave them a refund.

Take your money and leave dude. You can tell from the broken sentences that this lady is a NUT JOB!

How old is your son?

The contract was made when he advertised the goods and the buyer agreed and paid the money to you/your son.

O hell this laaitie is in for one hell of a ride in future life! My mom stopped fighting my battles for me when I turned 6 and to this date I thank her for that!

Sorry ma'am but you need to face the fact that you son is growing up and needs to pay real life schooling fees for his own actions. He placed the ad, someone responded, they agreed on terms and the buyer paid. Thus you are currently a third party and not involved with this deal. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, I think is the correct term here...
