RockCoach Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I reckon I grab the SS about half the time. Mainly so that I don't rack up too many miles on the Enduro bike. It's the low maintenance option when its muddy out. I run a 36 x 18 ratio on 26" wheels which suits me perfectly.

broncoza Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Been on a 26er with 32:16 for a year now. Find can pretty much handle most and actually prefer riding SS. Sort of a no nonsense ride. Either you ride it or run it. No other choice.Recent convert to 29er geared. BUT now I want a 29er SS rigid front end... its addictive
