Mr X Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Thanks to these guys we are going to become even more the reason to become another "stereotype" another "gang" "group" of a certain demographic that people want to hate. There are many cyclists, there are so many that amongst them you will find many "not very nice"/"unwise"/"agro" people. I really do not care if people stereotype me because of the dumb actions of someone else. I do not stereotype rugby players as being thugs because of a swinging of handbags incident, I do not expect to be stereotyped badly because of the dumb actions of other cyclists, and if I am, I just do not give a crap. fabs Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Hello ADMIN. The fact that they have deleted the facebook account this morning might make it difficult to obtain certain information. Thanks to THEHUBSA readers, if you can submit this post #183 and #231admission of guilt by this club to violence and, their clubs "hero", who was there when it happened or has first hand information Hope this gets sorted out soon. What really gets me, is that looking at the racetec website of this "hero" he is a good performance cyclistHe thinks he is starting in group C on sunday, with an average speed of 32km/hr
Saudiq Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Nail on the head J. When you put a bunch of rats in a cage and add stress they attack each other - humans do the same thing. SA really is just a big stressed rat cage at the moment. At the risk of going all gooey and soft - this is exactly the time we should be looking out for each other - instead it's all handbags and walking sticks. Thehub is a fine microexample of this road rage incident. Every thread is picked to pieces, judged and OP insulted. To a lesser degree each one of us is part of that savage pack. Ironic innit? Couldn't agree more
Mr X Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 What drugs are you on to think you love in some utopia? Yes, I live in an utopia of not stereotyping. Stereotyping is bad. I try to not do it, as I expect people not to stereotype me, but it yes happens, but then I do not care. RFC311 1
DIPSLICK Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I blame the runners. If they hadn't thrown down their sachets, there'd have been no need to clean up, and no need for a van, and then none of this would have happened. JOGGERS whether you ride a road bike or a mtb it does not matter. this behaviour is totally unacceptable and these okes needs a couple of PK's to get back to reality. bitchesU SAY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR YET YOU WANT TO RESPOND WITH "PK" TO THE "BIAATCHAS" MMMMMMMMMMM CONTRADICTION LongDonkey, BigDL, RFC311 and 3 others 6

You should, and you should be very concerned. With the way violence escalates in this country do you really need a bigger target on your back ?People stereotype, you stereotype whether you want to admit to it or not, these actions and this video just nudged it along a bit more that cyclists are to be hated by the general populace. slowpoke 1
GoLefty!! Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 What drugs are you on to think you love in some utopia? I think he expects to live a mature society, not utopia... Thats not too much to ask is it? Why now attack him for expecting a reasonable situation. Klaus 1
Cellar Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I think he expects to live a mature society, not utopia... Thats not too much to ask is it? Why now attack him for expecting a reasonable situation. Sorry. The miserable weather here has made me too pessimistic this morning. I wasn't attacking him. I was seriously asking. Maybe the correct drugs would improve my mood.
StoneW Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) On the lighter side ( we need this), I showed my son this clip yesterday. His first reation was " What kind of a guy uses his bike to hit someone, he is not a real cyclist" LOL Edited March 4, 2014 by StoneW carbon29er, GoLefty!! and Sidekick Racer 3
Antoo Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 My heart is warmed by the fact that many of our stemmed 'Hubbers' have sprouted winglets and halo's of late, because there have been too many expressions of how "they would', if faced with a given situation. Then again, given the responses of many, I doubt very much that their behaviour would have been any different to the said parties involved.I do not know the extent of the provocation that led to the attack, but the lack of restraint thereafter is disturbing. The subsequent lack of restraint by many of the hubbers, when commenting, is equally disturbing. Were these not the same folk who were at the fore front of the mob that gathered after Burry's incident? Capricorn and Skylark 2

I AM LEFT TO THINK THE SAME THING HERE IS WHY ,,,remember that hit and run a few months ago the hub was ready to kill that guy, had photos of the car parked at his house there were a few lets get him on board, eventually the guy handed himself in, there were more than enough CHARSLES BRONSONS THEN
