Like the insurance ad on tv, somthing about a unique insurance for a unique country.So as mentioned I couldnt agree more with using ones head when on the road. Its nothing to ride 3 or 4 abreast but if the road is busy then some logic is required, so share the space and make it convenient for everyone.No. The point is exactly to compare and show up our intolerant behaviour, be it from cyclists or drivers. There is a better way and if the French can do it, so can we. All about learning and growing up.

There is a "pavement" between the road and the cyclelane. You should not try and "interpret the law" just follow it However riding left of the yellow line basically illegal.

Same with the Elsenburg incident. What if it was one of the white students who used a sjambok on the "protestors"?

dre Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 you are only obliged to use the cycles lanes when they form part of the ROAD - the 'cycle lanes' next to Marine Drive are pavements with a line down the middle and is used by all non-motorised transport and pedestrians. Incorrect Omar. In fact, clearly marked as a cycle lane. But you ahead and get yourself knocked over by a truck while breaking the law.
