On the Hub people tend to go by instinct and the first thing that pops into their heads is then defended no what what evidence is presented. If the Hub community decided all things based on this principle we would still think the sun went around the earth and that the earth was flat. If he did, he wouldnt be in the situation he is in now.

But yes, perhaps there were some strange and unusual mitigating circumstances that saw him have a needle and syringe in his person on the eve of his best ever world cup performance....
