So impressed with my wife, we picked up some new takkies on takealot and she went out and smashed her 30min run with an average heart rate of 178bpm.

She loved that the iWatch worked without her iphone.

For a full time working mom who travels and has to put up with a MAMIL, she really does not have time to fit in exercise, discovery vitality I think has worked try priotize it :D

Yeah, really don't get the gym swipe bunch... they think they are clever, but the only one they're really cheating are themselves. Disco could easily start to make them swipe out too in future with a second card reader(a minimun of 45minutes later)... but then they'd probably just eat a pie and have a shower to keep themselves busy  :P

The Swipe of Shame?

Surely, no amount of free smoothies is worth the humiliation of swiping the card, doing a 180 and heading straight back out...?!

My wife used to take our baby in, swipe, order smoothie and roll.

In doing so meet her goal for the next week :P

The problem is they went all out to get people to buy apple watches (which isnt a sports tracking device) to track activities and then came up with some round about way to sync your other devices (Which are ACTUAL sports tracking devices) and now they penalizing those people... Its stupid.

Rad should be using a proper device, not necessarily one that Disco approves but one that accurately records data.. problem with that is, disco will change their mind next month and keep that device in the cold...

My opinion and it doesn't count much, is that disco should put the whole thing on hold, come up with and actual plan on which they decide who, what and how many devices will be allowed and go from there cos this is now getting stupid.

If you don't want to buy a "R3000 HRM" (AKA Garmin), you can still use Strava with a bluetooth HR Strap like the Wahoo Tickr (R1000) and still get your points. That's what I've been doing the past while since my Garmin packed up and I don't have the money for a new one at this point in time.

On a funny note, I should borrow a HR monitor for my Wedding Ceremony.

I think I will get 3000 points for a 31 min Sermon sounds about fair based on what saying "I do" can do to your heart rate?

But Strava no longer counts?

I don't think the Wahoo Tickr works with S-Health then? I know the R1500 Polar H7 strap works.

Won't count as a legitimate exercise for vitality purposes as it's an uploaded effort...

That is what I thought and that is what the abusers were doing to get Strava unsupported.

I was happy only earning 300 points for every morning ride I did.

Does Bryton work? Thinking of going for a jog this afternoon, and i'm using a Cardio 60 with HRM. Will upload to bryton website and see if I can link It to Strava.

All recorded with Strava+Tickr, downloaded as TCX, uploaded to GC, synced with Vitality. I mean c'mon seriously Myles. I wouldn't be saying that's what I've been doing if that's not what I've actually been doing. Heck, there's my profile so you can see it was recorded with Strava and not an external device.

I have been n swiping for the last couple of weeks, I short of kill myself doing a Crossfit workout at a box close to the VA, then take a small detour and swipe, I do not even feel guilty in the slightest way.
