Grebel Posted December 17, 2018 Share OK, maybe it is a bit rough and ready, but it will NEVER fall apart! I couldn't believe how expensive pine got, how poor the quality and how inconsistent the dimensions. I found 1 straight piece for every 10 that I searched through! You should try buy straight CCA treated timber.... I told the salesman I was building a shed not a consignment of archery bows but my humour went straight over him like a frisbee over a fat Labrador. fanievb Posted December 17, 2018 Share I'm no where near what you okes are capable of. But I built my daughter a little doll house tacx repair stand doubling as a third hand for sanding and cutting Platform coming together with some help from my handlanger Window and door frame Top railing Front covered with pallet pine. I couldn't get decent notty pine in town but this turned out great. The final product MrJacques, FondTF2, LeTurbo and 18 others

LOOK695 Posted December 18, 2018 Share The last few months been kept busy with the biggest project I’ve ever tackled by myself. I am pretty pleased with the final outcome. The roof sheeting was done by the owner of the plot where we are renting. He’s got a steel business and his team does roofs on a regular basis. The timber I treated with Enseal and varnished with Powerseal One of the future residents doing inspection ???????? Still need to make the stable doors fanievb, Tothehills, Eddy Gordo and 12 others
Tothehills Posted December 18, 2018 Share Made a Co-Sleeper for the Pinkvoet arriving soon. Making wood dust, no problem! But blerrie upholstery work was a learning curve. Grebel, Rocket-Boy, BuffsVintageBikes and 9 others
DJR Posted December 18, 2018 Share Finally got all the sanding done and the knife project finished. Went from 60 grit, through 80, 120, 150, 220, 400, 600, 800 to 1000. Never before did so much sanding. The ironwood gave a fantastic finish with nothing more than buffing with a bit of thin wax. I'm seriously chuffed with the end result. johannrissik Posted December 18, 2018 Share Co-sleeper. Clever idea. That way all three of you get a chance to sleep. Enjoy the experience.

I told the salesman I was building a shed not a consignment of archery bows but my humour went straight over him like a frisbee over a fat Labrador. Don't get me started on that topic. I don't call the species Pinus Crappus for nothing. And that is even before the timber merchants had their hands on it.
