Quickly banged together a "disposable" tray for a platter that we had to take to a Halloween party. Couple of flooring scraps and a flame thrower, quite fun to see how the wood burns!

That would make it p.falcatus aka afrocarpus falcatus if indded Outeniqua yellow.

Please get some pricing per plank and also whether the wood is blue stain free, it looks to be.

Besig om nuwe kuier tafel te bou vir buite by die braai. Was oorspronklik n bar wat ek by my broer gekry het.

Sal fotos post sodra dit klaar is. Blad te swaar vir net 4 pote so ek moet nog 2 bou. Maar eers W2W.

Love the safety gear.  If one of those legs fall on your toes you can hobble around the bathroom while you missus rubs aloe vera on your back for the sunburn. :whistling:

25 mm planks go for about R 26000.00 a cube at the moment. Perhaps a bit cheaper if you buy a few and shop around. Those are very, very nice boards.

So, my information about the timber was wrong, the guy selling it is in Ramsgate, but the timber is in Henley-on-Klip, any Joburg peeps who may be interested, I can PM you the sellers number.

Hahaha the missus helped me turn the table's top around and the one almost fell on her foot...which would have ended up hurting me way more but luckily it didn't.

And i did get a bit of sunburn...  i never learn.

Go back and collect it immediately. There are shops who pay good money for that. Looks weathered but I would say it's teak probably Rhodesian. Easy to clean up. How much is there?

I'd estimate about 36m2
