I ended up applying again last night (didn't receive an email) and then received a successful confirmation shortly afterwards.

 

Not sure if it was a coincidence, but the fact that I could enter again (name, surname, ID number, etc.) makes me think I needed to apply again.

Heard nothing from them, so sent an e-mail yesterday to ask what was happening. Received a reply today to confirm that the whole of team DJR is in. Said they sent a mail on Wednesday already and I must check on my side why I received nothing. Not in my spam file, nada. But we're all IN, so who cares. Now waiting for the link to pay.

nope. not pulling your leg.  i got my email on the 24th already.  i'm a paid up ppa member and i actually paid it before 1 July 2016.

Today is the 29th. It is almost 9 am and I have been awake since very early. No confirmation yet.

What time does Cape Town start work? Or do Capetonians only arise from their slumber by Thursday? Just asking. Anyone got their good news yet?

After the last batch of emails that came on time  , I would suggest wait for till Wednesday or so....

mmm ... Cape Town only awakes from our weekend slumber at about 10 on a Monday...

then think about work .. (note  THINK not actually work) from about 11 .... and actually start to work at 11:55 ( lunch is at 12 ... .. so expect email anytime tomorrow ... lol

then think about work .. (note  THINK not actually work) from about 11 .... and actually start to work at 11:55 ( lunch is at 12 ... .. so expect email anytime tomorrow ... lol

 

Remember after lunch we need to recover from lunch.. thats about a hr .. so thats 2ish .. by that time we forgot what we thought about at 11.. then start thinking again.. takes about 2 hrs as we bit moeg after whole lunch thing... so thats 4pm.. but then we need to start getting ready to go home.. clean desk , wash cup etc. cant be late for clockout.
