I see the classifieds are full of people trying to sell their entries, but quiet a few wants to sell it at full price, not taking (purposefully or innocently) into account that there is a substitution cost involved for the person buying it.

Ja well, I did the Argus route yesterday morning, and it was quite breezy and blustery. Last check I did on windguru on Sat did not predict any winds stronger than 17km/h for yesterday.

So if the conditions/predictions change so much from one day to the next, two weeks is a looooonnnggg time..

you woke up to late to get an entry, then pay what you are willing to pay for one plus sub costs.

 

If you were awake you could have gotten it at the normal price excluding sub costs.

 

They are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, and from my experience people are willing to pay full price.

 

Having said that, I dont know what admin is involved in substitution but nearly R300 for that sounds a bit steep.
