That's their job though. Doing 6 hr rides  x 5 a week demands are different.

Oh, so in all other areas we want to look and act like them, but not saddlebags?

Our legs are more shaven, our kits matches better than theirs, we will never buy something that is on special, we ride only in a perfect single file, drink only sparkling water, socks are longer and our team support cars look like a Zuma motorcade. Please dont do us the dishonour of saying we try to be like them, we are in fact substantially cooler.

If absolutely necessary, in a converted bidon in a cage on bike.

 

But those rules were written ironically.... so does that not make saddle bags acceptable?
