looks alot like hakahana , well with gloomy weather and more clamy dirt

I feel sorry for the riders on Spez tyres. Those guys are going to have a *** weekend.

From what I've seen, that tracks eats tyres and rims for breakfast.

the urban section seems dangerous to me .... cause lets jsut think at what speed the top 30 men and Rachel will go into that

and Rachel will more than likely be high up the ranks the the "30 men" overall results :P

GRID should hold up  :excl:  .... hopefully

and maybe everyone should just up the pressures  :D

Uhm. They use DH casings. GRIDs would be ripped to shreds.  :P

Yes, I stifled a small snigger at that. My rear Grid Butcher has been pretty steady, but after riding very carefully down smooth roads to get home after a loss of 50% air pressure due to a tyre burp, the side wall shows signs of sealant leakage. Not terribly thick they are...

I have watched all the Earthed series of movies in the last week, thanks to YouTube. Here is Earthed 2 from 2005. Have a look at the tracks they race on and compare them to some of the ones they race on now. Its not surprising they wore big pads back then and don't bother much these days...

I know we have to see what happens first, but what the actual F?

That's not a place for a MTB race, that's for a yacht rally!

which is why there is more water than land in their submission video to the UCI!

and remember Croatia the MTB powerhouse, where are they in the downill rankings?

they don't even have anyone in the top 150

best oke is TOPOL Berislav in 153rd, who got all his points from winning.....the Croatia DH champs

I think it's rad... Brings in the risk/reward factor as opposed to just 'pinning' it...

Adding in conditions and mixed terrain means that the fastest guy might not win, but rather the guy who makes the smartest decisions.

Which in fairness, makes the racing better.

If you have a crap tire supplier you will need to speak to them and discuss options.

It's not a flat out chainless run to the bottom. Pretty awesome in my books...

I think it's a perfect track for Sam Hill... if he were still doing DH.

I thought it was an awesome track, cant wait to see the view from trail side, some proper huge features all over the place especially the gap over the wall, and then the Urban Assault will no doubt have some interesting ones too.
