I need a rear derailleur hanger for a Santa Cruz Highball . About 10 years old alu frame .

This model predates the time when Rush Sports became the importers of Santa Cruz so they don’t have stock

Try Olympic Cycles. They're a dealer and have been for a long time, and they're well known for having a collection of arcane spares.

Wheels Manufacturing make one, but the local distributor doesn't have it on their system. They will probably be able to order though.

These are not replaceable parts - surprisingly - and I have not been successful in finding 3D print files for them either.

I would definitely investigate using Q Bond to try and build up that broken-off piece.

Here's what I would do if that was a part on an old bike I was restoring.  Put a piece of gladwrap over the hole - not too tight to allow some movement. Spray the top of the gladwrap with Spray and Cook.

Mix up some White Pratleys Quickset and fill up the hole over the gladwrap and leave to set..

Pull up the gladwrap off the FD once the Pratleys has set and then pull the gladwrap off the hardened glue.

You now have a perfect mould of the part which is missing.  You can then file the piece of glue down carefully until you have a piece which matches the missing part pretty closely.  Might take a few attempts, but ecentually you will have a piece which fits perfectly and only close up will you see that its damaged....

Arno you can try Louis at Knipe_Racing as well.  Almost 10 years ago I came close to buying a SC from them.

Anyone by some chance have any 7970 (old Di2) bits lying around? Looking for a rear derailleur and possibly shifters

Hail mary here.

my free hub went over the weekend, opened up to find a broken pawl, (found a new one).

BUT, the axle thread on the drive side is cracked.

Have gone to LBS to find if they can order a spare from SRAM, but then whilst I wait on that wondered now if someone has something similar from a busted wheelset.

Hub is SRAM MTH 746 - wheelset is sun ringle inferno23. Off a RM vertex 2013. (non boost) TA12x148

 

 

only the axle is moertoe (although i do wonder how long it's been like this!!)

Has someone maybe got a broken Shimano XTR 11s shifter sitting around?

Hi all, does anyone have a pair of road bike brake/gear shifters that look relatively neat? does not matter what brand or how many gears etc.
don't have to work, no brakes or gears will be connected

thanks! I put the hub back together and put it through its paces, waiting for a fatal break - survived a 25km XC trailride - must be overengineered!

Can you supply me with dimensions ( length inside and outside) plus diameter ? I should have something that will fit.
