stop mucking about and finish the race report

Someone else is writing it at the moment, we also have a ladies report coming as well.

I am busy with a little video.

Great hearing the war stories from all the teams.

Did you only stop for 7mins?

You should rather use the full 30mins thats allowed.

I wonder what is the best strategy? Personally I can see sense in not using the full 30 min / 1 hour - my legs are like lead after standing around so long, completely messes up my "rhythm" (for lack of a better term)

We had a average team 2-3 years ago and managed a 6:13

We sent 6 stronger climbing riders to "stop" the clock the slower riders met up filled/fueled up and off we went again.

and from what i hears most racing teams still have all their riders when they leave the 2nd feed zone, hence why the times are fast now a days.

What some mixed teams do is send 6 guys ahead to the first 2 stops letting the ladies then catch up, then get 3 ladies across the line at the end in top 6.

The most reckless riding I saw all day was Vincento Nibali who put in a blistering fast sprint on the downhill section after the finish line towards the Sportsgrounds. He went so fast that the cops controlling the traffic at the main road intersection probably thought it was Valentino Rossi on his Yamaha.  At least he stuck mostly to the right hand side of the road and did not put any cyclists travelling in the same direction into danger  :D
