Froome must be wondering what he has to do to get the nod or a knighthood 4 tour wins down the line. Wiggins scored his SPOTY and a 'Sir' after one as well. Maybe it's the 'personality' bit that is the issue.He has an OBE - that isn't a bad start. Maybe another TdF will get him the Sir!

Wiggins just crossed over quite and bit and at the time I don't suppose anyone thought another Brit would grab a few more TDF's, a giro and a Vuelta

And then they all stood around the stage like lost farts while George Ezra played Paradise... It ended with him standing centre stage looking like a tit holding his trophy.

Froome will want Kerrison, his soigneur and more than likely 3 domestics and Blem as his personal mechanic. Looking at that, its a 10M euro budget for 1 year for "1" rider.Very few team have that and those that do, is between 1/3 and half of their budget so who do you cull in the team for a possible GT win? There is a lot more to a season than a GT and some teams aren't interested in a GT win alone so teams are even more selective on who to go to.I think Brailsford will find a sponsor funnily enough.
