You should try apply for the “Original hub” club membership.

Benefits include an unlimited premium subscription application veto vote.... to stop the riff raff from becoming premium members.

Unfortunately my application was unsuccessful.

Reasons stated was:

1) Riding classic steel roadbike with MTB baggies and long fingered gloves.

2) Not Enough gears on MTB.

3) Seriously lacking in the colour co-ordination department.

OK, back to the topic

Im a www.thehubsa.co.za member, and don't use bikehub

Maar die plek is nie meer dieselfde nie....

Deesdae baklei almal net

In die goeie ou dae het ons bietjie bike gery, bier gedrink en vleis gebraai... in die middel van die Velodrome!

Die fietsry na die bier was altyd meer interesant, al in die ronte, al in die ronte en daai bikes hettie brieke nie! :D

Ditch the long finger gloves, those are for people who ride where it’s really cold (not cool), post pics for 6 months in the “where did your bike take you” thread making sure to include your new short finger gloves in the pic..... and then apply again

And obviously if you have ever or do still use a camelback your application will immediately be rejected. Goes without saying really.

you are both ahead and behind the times here

Oh you mean that World MTB champion who was RACING and came SECOND at the Epic. Ask him if he uses one when riding the green loop at the local MTB trail.

But if you insist that you must do as Avancini does, please be sure to wear decent socks too.

you can get a 'nice used camebak' laced with The Plague in the classifieds for relatively cheap these days. Those are also for the people who need the "do not drink" warning on bleach bottles imo
