Seems I was wrong and can rightfully admit it.

oh that's nice ! Except some of the peops who already entered will moan, no matter what you do people will moan :)

But i'm happy, didn't mind losing my entree fee in the first place, but definitely going to enter the 99er as soon as I get the email for the discounted price ;)

I dont think the people on the Hub are going to be too bothered about the cancellation. Heck most of us have probably already entered the Paarl Cycle Tour. Its the rest of the plebs that make up the numbers and that will be cross about a cancellation and not enter next year. Similar to those that have not entered the cycle tour this year because of the cancellations in the past.

This really hits the event hard. Lets hope, people forget after a perfect Argus and enter for Die Burger in December!

do you think there will be a big turn out for the Paarl Cycle Tour?

Now I just might enter the 99'er.

Did not see my way clear to pay just short of R400.00 to ride a route I can ride anytime I want to.

Wonder if they backtracked liked with the Mulati black friday special.. to many people already entered moaning they paid more etc.

Quite possible.

What they could do is perhaps offer everyone the same discounted rate for whichever race they choose which they maybe have not entered yet, For example R100 for your next race, all u need to do is provide the discount code on checkout or something? Not too clued up on the way that would/could or could not work to be honest, Just an idea because yeah, 99er is in 2 weeks time, I'm pretty sure a large percentage entered in advance.
