Please can someone in the know explain the xcc qualifying. Seems a lot of competitors didn't take part. Presumably they will not do the short course on Thursday and will accept starting 6th row or further back ?

Two qualifying races. The top 5 from each qualifying race makes up the  top 10 for Thursday. There after its according to fastest losers. Only 7or 8 guys don't make it into the XCC anyway so not sure what the point is

Cink lit up the race and from there onwards AH was lost, didn't seem in control. Avancini fought well but Blevins - that was unexpected ????

I think Alan was just cruising in the end to make sure he is on the starting line
