So I set out today to do 45min of defending HIIT, I got 3/4 of the way through the first sprint and my legs were having none of it.

So I upped the resistance and kept a steady pace for the rest of the session.

Checked on intervals.icu a few moments ago and fatigue has climbed steadily over the last 3 weeks, despite taking rest days every few days.

Going to have to try some new things

I read Phil Gilbert was fined 100 Swiss Francs or something for doing a short loop in Monaco because she wanted some “variety”.

Yeah and Rohan Dennis absolutely lost it.. made a break for it in his car said some questionable things..responded to a post then proceeded to make his social media accounts inactive.

Why would he post it though [emoji848]

He is a real PR nightmare... on one side they have Thomas raising funds and then they have Dennis going off the rails..team management is important in times like these.. not everyone copes with situations the same way.

My neighbour just got a R500 fine for working in his front garden (not fenced in). Just as well they didn't come yesterday when my wife was running in the front yard.

On a related note, Sagz Baby has dismissed the idea of racing indoors using online platforms, describing himself as 'a real cyclist, not a virtual one'.

[emoji15] that seems a bit excessive..it is his property..surely he can contest that fine?

Really!? I know that's municipal ground, but it's up to him to maintain - surely that fine will get dismissed if he challenges it.

Was this in SA?

Surely lockdown meant stay on your property not in your dwelling? I wonder if the law defines it as such?

The plot thickens as we speak, It sounds like someone in the street called the police. Then the cops issued the wrong fine to him (different crime, different person), now the cop appears to be patrolling our street as he can't remember which house he issued the wrong fine to.

You can't make this stuff up!

LOL,

At the moment all cyclists are virtual ones, unless he has space to ride laps in his garden.

I have never been a “real” cyclist.

No, some countries where people actually obey the law are still allowing personal activities, few places in Europe still allow u to cycle outside.

My one boss who moved to Holland, and their you are pretty free to roam, but shops limit 1 member per family, no beaches and no groups of more than 3.

He told me that in his neighbourhood 4 kids where playing together in the street and the cops walked out, issued them each a 400euro fine and when handing it over Saif "here, give this to your parents".

It's only really Italy and Spain that you have to stay in your property. Most everywhere else you are free to roam. France has a 1km radius and in Ireland we have a 2km radius for exercise. We also have 1 person per shop rule and no gatherings. Our R0 is down to below 1 now Edited by Stretch
