Does anybody have any recommendations for good mud guards that can accommodate 35c-40c tires?

In frame whole wheel guys or just the stick on things?

For commuting in the UK I can highly recommend full wheel arch ones. If your bike has mounts, then pull into Brick Lane bikes and they will pimp you out.

Planet X also have some good options....

The amount of top end road bikes I saw with full mudguards blew my mind.

Was thinking if you ride for a club is it mandatory to have guards for the spray ?

Damn and they are uuuggglllyyy!

It’s very much the decent thing to do and most clubs recommend it. Also on the commute in it’s about those around you more than yourself. I would happily just pop on an Ass-saver.

But yes, you are right Bruno does deserve better, maybe the answer is a dedicated winter commuter bike hmmmmm

Obviously living in Rainland also comes with it's challenges and necessities.

But your style advice has just dropped to the same level of credibility as Myles' tyre advice.
