Whether one likes him or not Valverde is one hell of an athlete.

Great ride by Superman Lopez to set him up.. Movistar probably deserves this one.

Also great to see Tao showing some form.

I think Chris Froome looked better today?

Rolling back the clocks to a wonderous time when riders could achieve superhuman performances!

Damn I dislike Valverde and everything him and his generation of riders represent.

What has that to do with Sonny Colbrelli?

His name is much nicer than the silly looking time trail helmets that EF used in the critérium du dauphiné individual time trail

Valverde after his stage win yesterday:

I'm super happy to win at 41. First of all I have to thank my team who have worked incredibly all week. For the final part, Superman Lopez said to me 'shall I pull', and I said 'Okay'. To be honest I have to thank him because he did an incredible job”

Graceful and ever the professional

Yep, the euro sport commentators said the same thing, except they said years

great to see him attack, hopefully we see some more now and the next few months

Few years back he and Porte went on the attack in CD.

I have to keep reminding myself Lutsenko is not Movistar. Norman no mates seems to have been getting a real nice team train up this beast

Porte showing some good form going into TDF!

Sepp Kuss is great to watch on the steep climbs. He makes it look so effortless.

What a day of racing. If this is a dress rehearsal for a few weeks time I'm excited!
