like T20 cricket...

Makes one appreciate that quality of the proper race more. 👍

I guess if that's how you want to look at it.

Like T20 cricket, 7s rugby etc as the discipline establishes itself there will be guys who specialise at it.

All of them started out as gimmicky off shoots, but seem to have become massive money with a massive following.

With the XCC now seen as it’s own series you might just see specialists in the future

Yes. That's what I was saying. It's logical that guys with the right physiology will focus on the form of racing that suits them.

Much like T20 specialists, 7s rugby players etc....

I was also trying to get across that instead of saying 'this type is better than that type of racing' we should be happy that that there is more bike racing and more variety of bike racing.

Who know, like cricket, the sport may just be financially saved by it's mickey mouse pyjama party off shoot

I've warmed up to XCC, its better now its it own series and less points to the XCO leader.

But the circuit yesterday was too open and flat I think, never seen such a large bunch circulating just about all the way, but good racing nevertheless.

Piddles looked pi$$ed at his 2nd place wtf

I actually have too warmed up a bit more to it, especially since Alan has been doing great at it as well.

I do appreciate that it's going in direction of specialty stand alone type format however still prefer start positions not to be affected by the XCC results.

Mona Mitt.... gets a bad start position weekly coz she has a bad 20min threshold.

Anyway tomorrow is going to be interesting. Piddy probably the guy to beat. Nino looks like his back to his pre "covid life" form. Hoping Alan lasts the duration too!

I think this was answered.

She has been close the last two seasons, fighting with the front pack ........... and then ditching the husband and new coach = the breakthrough she has been looking for.
