NOW ....... is it conceivable that Porche did not have a yellow cabrio in stock for this delivery ?

Yellow is very popular in Germany so unlikely there’s be one on the showroom floor. Sold before they hit the tarmac

Probably yes .......

A yellow porsche would have ol' Ferdinand make a comeback from the grave to sort them out.

So Ben H defeated the Hub pundits and stayed in yellow. I see today is hilly. Why will he not still be in yellow after today, he looks like a climber?

The top two GC guys will be going for it today, definitely Jonas and team Visma.

Ben H to my mind is a stage hunter from the break away on hilly terrain.

The yellow does give one the strength of ten cyclist, thinking Tommy V, but the stage is different with the phenomena of TP and JV.

There is a bit of a difference between hills and mountains in the TdF. I am glad he survived a hilly stage in yellow. He is a better than average climber though.

However, today they hit the mountains, different story to stay with the likes of Pog and Jonas in the mountains.

yes, that is entirely correct. Unless he does a JAP and holds onto yellow like jack russel to a frisbee.

I have memories of Thomas Voeckler turning himself inside out, trying to hold on to yellow. I believe Ben Healy will do the same :)

And Tobias Johannessen had to endure horrific abuse on social media after the race incident when the rainbow jersey overlapped wheels and the race frenzy switched direction in yesterday’s finalé. Even Pogačar had to post a calming message to de-escalate the online abuse. In my world of work, I assist profess athletes with navigating their relationships with cyber bullying which lead to a range of mental struggles. These young men and women grew up in the digital age where these platforms matter. Interestingly, Vingegaard shared that he is not on social media.

And that completes the Hautacam mountain summit which is roughly 16 kms at 7% gradient. Have climbing records been broken yet again?

TdF stage victory Nr 20 for the Slovenian and rainbow jersey. A force of nature.
