The only interesting racing is outside of GC .............................. The podium ceremony has become a pretty boring event after each stage.

I am amazed by the stats presented, BUT the absolute brutal manner in which he simply rocketed ahead makes me sea sick.

UAE appears to be just as hammered as the rest of the field, yet Pog looks like he can do this thing without the help of the UAE team.

Then again, I have zero clue what this race is about 😵

So I was up all night on a copium binge. Jonas only needs to get 23.44 seconds for the next 8 stages and 23.45 on the final stage to beat Pogi.

There’s a Michael Phelps, a Usain Bolt, a Caster Semenya, a PSdT/Kolbe, etc - why must Pog be a doping suspect? If I’m correct he nor his equipment has ever failed a check or test? Surely by now there would be actual fire.

Well Pog just smashed the stage by 30+ seconds ahead of JV and Roglic. Lipowitz and Plapp to round off. Plapp held the lead all day until Roglic smashed it, then Pog and JV smashed Roglic’s time. JV overtook Remco with a few metres to go. Remco was game over with 3km to go.

Digging deep, hauling in the TT world champion and his 2 minute man, the Dane finds himself over 4 mins away from the Golden Fleece. 
And the fight for the 3rd podium step is also very intriguing. 
Tomorrow’s another mountain stage.

Yeah but then the constant pokes should be at the whole GC, not just Pog. When Remco, MvdP, JV etc win, it’s “super effort, well deserved!” but when Pog wins it’s “💉”. Not specifically speaking about here but on the socials as well. Pog has been prepared for this since he was a child and his UAE team is an absolute beast in every respect, so I just don’t get the constant doping jibes aimed at him specifically. I mean look at JV, at his physicality. His results are pretty super-human, too. If JV wasn’t a cyclist he’d be able to be a jockey 🏇

Sascha 🏉 could be viewed the same way yet everyone understands he was earmarked in school and his arrival in the Boks was written in stone. No one reckons his ability is because he dopes. 

Is this the legacy of Lance? That everyone who excels in road cycling must be 💉?
