As soon as you leave the coast and head into the hills you can lose yourself for days without covering the same ground. Heck, in 1 afternoon we spotted Rhino, Eland, Nyala, Springbok, Blesbok, Lion, Zebra, Impala, Blue and Black Wildebeest and a few I forget, all from the road, without even entering any of the numerous game reserves. That's so true and to get to any one of the gravel roads you start with a nice hill climb but when they are done one definitely has got some of the best and safest roads to ride in SA.
