Not too bad actually - roughly 30 to 35 Fahrenheit which is a few degrees either side of freezing. Problem is, with it being spring and the trails unfreezing, means tons of mud until it gets warmer.

This was out at Red Rocks - it's about 30 minutes outside of downtown Denver, Colorado. Cool place - always come across wildlife when I've been out there. This was a herd of about 20 Elk - Most of them have shed their antlers for spring, but a couple still had theirs.

My guess is North America somewhere, the silhouettes look like female elk, so, I'll wager Rockies. Perhaps Canada? British Columbia?
