Yes - when there is enough rain, I guess.

I would like to try a floating bridge at some time, but I don't know if I would like myself and my bike getting soaked [emoji571]

Rockfest. It took us about 90mins to hike to the top, and 15mins to bomb down.

Groenlandberg?

Shouldn't have clicked this thread. ( Did click mucho likes tho)

No riding this weekend, as I was suffering the aftermath of almost working myself to death. Long hours and high stress equals compromised immune system. Also, pure exhaustion made me couch bound making my ADSL line glow red with online content and hogging the kids' ps3 (they at one stage teamed up to try and physically wrangle the controller from my hands)

Some may remember that I asked a while ago for suggestions for some different 'endurance' type events to try out and I think it was jcza that suggested looking at the Audax 'rides' - a BRM 300 was the next one this past weekend so decided to give it a go. Different for sure and made a rookie mistake with the navigation which meant I had to turn back and then some to get my 'brevet' signed at control point 2 adding 33k's to the final distance. Despite that had loads of fun and the first time I have ever started and ended an event in the dark needing lights

4AM at the Lido souf of Jobeg for the start

At the first Control Point at about 64k's (Nigel Wimpy) - man it was cold and misty

On the stretch the navigational error was made ......
