Belgian biker Posted May 22, 2017 Share still recovering from knee surgery, did 10 km yesterday. It felt more like a victory then some longer rides I did before. Belgian biker Posted May 22, 2017 Share One day at a time, Belgian one yip, fortunatly, I've got a great physio-therapist, he works miracles. I'm now cycling on my regular city bike and that goes fine. The road bike will still have to wait for maybe a month or so. I'm looking forward to longer rides in the summer... This bloody machine has been keeping me busy 9 hours a day, so I've been finished by the end of the day, and I had to rest over the weekend, as my legs were klaar. On a positive note, I dropped 5kg last week and my leg strength has increased. Oh well, 2 more weeks to go. Then I'll have enough timber to repair building and roofs around the farm. DJR Posted May 22, 2017 Share No riding for me either, but still cycling related: I went paddling a double kayak from Simonstown with my youngest D, my tandem buddy, before he grew up to ride his own bike. (Thanks for the invitation Beattbox.) The picture reminded me of another cycling related fact: That button of a nose is not genetic, he got that when he did a drop and crashed full tilt into an oak tree at about 5 years of age. Ride Rate Review Posted May 23, 2017 Share I took this Mythic Monster out for a ride at Contermanskloof today to get the suspension dialed in. This is The Zerode Tanihwa. It's a full carbon frame & it features the Pinion gearbox instead of the conventional drive train system seen on every other bike. LOOK695 Posted May 24, 2017 Share What a ride I had this morning????????. Yesterday morning I saw a road leading up one of our mountains. It is only visible now as some plantations have been chopped down. This morning I tackled it. Lots of fine dust as the forestry company is extracting wood from on top of mountain. Coming down, my TRP Spyre brakes were more than adequate. ???????? campy groupset working flawlessly in the dusty conditions. ????
