My last ride for 2015, I tip my hat to a year where my bike has really taken me to some amazing places. The fact that I plan holidays based on whether there's somewhere to ride.

Uni 3 yrs ago would not know this Uni of 2015 . cycling really does change lives.

Your comments make me think of this image:

On that note though, I've also been to some incredible places, and I must say, I've thoroughly enjoyed my sightseeing week - I think I am going to make it a more regular thing, not chasing my fastest times or biggest climbs, just cruising and seeing things I normally wouldn't get to see.

My companion on every ride. Drinks when I drink, stands and sits when I do, rides in front, behind or alongside me, never complaining about the heat, cold, wind or rain. All round good guy.

And then, just before I took the above photo, we had this guy join us going up Walkerville hill, staying with us over the top of the climb.

This dude joins me every time I ride the mountain bike. He looks a lot like my roadie buddy, as if they are twins, but not identical.

In more than one way...... but all good.  :)

When riding some of this awesome places or spots. I cannot help to think that if someone told me a few years ago that I will be climbing  this hill or pass by bike or ride 100 + km for fun in a few years I would not have believed them.  :)

But I don't miss the old me. :)
