Past the SS Mendi memorial at UCT on my way to work. (One for the history buffs.)

"Be quite and calm my countrymen, for what is taking place now is what you came here to do. We are all going to die, and that is what we came for. Brothers, we are drilling the death drill. I, a Zulu, say here and now that you are all my brothers... Xhosas, Swazis, Pondos, Basotho and all others, let us die like warriors. We are the sons of Africa. Raise your war cries my brothers, for though they made us leave our assegais back in the kraals, our voices are left with our bodies..."

(The Reverend Isaac Wauchope Dyobha)

And a few more, the first pic is about the only structure that remains intact at the old caravan park, my bike is visible behind the tree. The second one is a building at Gearings Point, I liked the clouds in the background, makes the building pop out. The girl in the blue dress fits in quite nicely, I thought. The last one is just above the Old Harbour

Rode our bikes to breakfast. We got there early so OH made me practice my curb technique to earn my brekkie.

Condiment thing had a pic of a bike on it that said "Love the journey, enjoy the ride"
